I created my website in 2009 and have updated the design a few times since then, to keep it modern and adapted to changes in technology. The web design and content (text and illustrations) are mine. This website has never been used to sell anything. Its purpose was to be a place for learning, where I could grow as a content creator, share my hobbies and projects with the world, and make my humble contribution to its well-being. Writing for children is my favourite hobby, and my writing projects are a combination of many good things that have made me the person I am today: my childhood memories, the joy of being a mother and part of a family, my enthusiasm for cooking and healthy eating, my interest in web design, illustration and photography, my passion for lifelong learning.

I own the following domain names: lifeandnature.ca and ingrittrincu.ca
I have decided to delete this website and focus on new projects with the same theme, life and nature. I believe in the ability of human beings to improve themselves, to learn every day, to look beyond the present and build a better life. I consider my website a success story. It has evolved with the world, in many ways:
1. The existence of websites in general, technical support content and online learning have proven to be important factors in maintaining a harmonious work-life balance.
2. People have realized that those who are connected to nature have happier lives.
3. Healthy eating has become a priority for many people. Children have learned that it is important to add a variety of fruits and vegetables to their meals.

Netfirms Inc. has been a wonderful host for my website (lifeandnature.ca and ingrittrincu.ca)
Netfirms provides superior web services and has a knowledgeable and professional customer service department. My sincere thanks to its founders and all the people who work there. I wish them success in business, prosperity, and happiness in their personal lives.
Canada is the place I call home. It is the kind of country you want to explore with all senses. I know the taste of pancakes with maple syrup, the heartbeat of the wind knocking at the door and how it feels to walk barefoot in the grass. When I close my eyes, I can imagine the snowy peaks of the mountains and the salty scent of the oceans.
I have always known that nature would never be too far from where I wanted to live. It is part of my everyday life. I've always loved feeling the fresh breeze when I open the windows in the morning, taking a walk on my lunch break from work, stopping by the fruit and vegetable section of the nearest grocery store on the way home, and of course, inviting nature to inspire me when
Even if I am not a vegetarian, fruits and vegetables make about three quarters of my daily meals. I started to eat vegetables from an early age, prepared in various ways (fresh or preserved for winter, pureed, steamed, boiled, fried, grilled, or baked) and never got bored of them. My parents were the first ones to show me the benefits of eating vegetables and legumes. I liked the way they cooked them, as a vegetarian meal on its own, or as a side dish served with meat, eggs, cheese, butter, or sour cream. I will probably never be as good as my parents when it comes to preparing those meals, but I'll keep trying to apply what I learned from them. I am also looking to create a transition to a more modern approach that will reduce the amount of time spent preparing the meals while maintaining the quality that comes with a traditional way of cooking.
I also think it is important for today's children to eat more fruits and vegetables and to learn about the food system and supply chain. We should find creative ways to teach children where their food comes from. This idea has grown into several writing projects of mine.
Some of my books include recipes, others leave the door open for parents and their children to get creative in the kitchen. I would like both children and parents to learn something from my books and also from the experience of cooking together. I want them to feel closer to each other and to nature. The conversations in my books are mostly about food, but they are also full of flowers, forests, city trees, and lots of windows.
I have learned to see nature everywhere and understand that everything in this world has a purpose. Every new season proves that nature is a survivor, and I have the greatest respect and admiration for its ability to find a way to renew itself. It makes me happy to watch nature's transformation every year, and I consider myself fortunate to live in a place with all four seasons.
I like living in a big city that considers nature an important element of life. I love its trees and green spaces, and I have come to understand the value and influence the change of seasons has on us all. This is an essential step toward living in harmony with nature. I believe modern life can be beautifully intertwined with nature. I have tried incorporating this idea in all my writing. My first writing project was Life Values, a collection of thoughts and reflections inspired by important events in my life.
